Or, it's been a very good new year for most of us, thanks to the mods. Personally, I can do without the trolls, flamethrowers, and multiple handles. If there was going to be a ban under the "new rules", that one should have certainly gotten the so-called Complex Goddess banned and banned harshly. My reasons are this: 1) I did not compare anyone with Down`s Syndrome, which is patently unfair of her, to accuse me of - and certainly the kind of comment that is inflammatory and is also the kind that starts flame wars. 2) To even heighten the controversy by merely mentioning people with an incurable and socially stigmatizing disease is utterly reprehensible. 3) I have someone close to me who has Down`s Syndrome - and so do probably a number of us who read this board.Dakota Wood said:
