I have a Breville juicer. It is made in Australia and is probably the most powerful out there. Unfortunately, powerful motors are noisy as insulating them too much would just make the units more bulky with additional noise insulation and extra cooling vents. etc... It handles just about anything you can throw at it - whole apples, etc... - and it is easy to clean. The litmus test for juicer efficiency is the amount of juice it can extract from the fruits or veggies; the drier the waste, the better. The waste products can also be used in baking recipes. About $150 at London Drugs.Hi all,
Can anyone recommend a good juicer to purchase?
Looking for a juicer with a strong motor, easy to clean, decent price, and not too noisy.
Yepperz. The quality of their shit is freakin' amazing. Hard to find stuff that well made anymore.Alize said:Breville...
screw this wattage stuf!! I have a juicer that is rated in HORSEPOWER! it is the same machine that you see in Starbucks making Frapawhatevers. It is a Vitamix. Not cheap, not very quite at full speed but nothing works as well. It spins fast enought to cause liquids to cook so soups are a cakewalk-blend the shit up till smoking hot and serve! Also goes slow enough to make good ice creams.
