I can't think of anywhere else to post this for a Winnipeg only audience, and I'd like input from the local Perb's.

I'm looking for a discreet, outdoor public place to meet someone to explore an arrangement. (No, we're not hooking up in the woods, just a first in person meet.)

The back corner of a dark bar is the obvious choice but that isn't in the cards for a while, damn you Covid. We need a public place where she will feel safe but where there might be a bit less chance of being overlooked. We both need some discretion and the chance of being seen by the wrong sets of eyes is a problem for us both. Should be in a decent area of the city, no sketchy vibes wanted.

I know some parts of Assiniboine park that would be perfect but that's too close to home for us both.

Any suggestions? If you can, please be as specific as possible. I'm sure there are lots of little nooks and crannies in the city.

I'm interested doing it too. Seems a lot of fun. Which sps can you recommend who are okay with it doing outside?

Ive heard some are doing it at birdshill during evening and asssinaboine forrest.

St Vital park has discreet areas as does Kings Park down Pembina Hwy.

Assiniboine Park is good for in car action .
If you want an outdoor walk or action , try Silver and Lyle. It has a private road in a field that leads to a section of the airport. It’s a foot ball field sort of. Good for a walk or car play.
Best car play is upper level parking between HBC and silver city polo park. One access ramp, great for playtime.

Nice park just off Fairmont just north of the CN level crossing, with a nice parking lot.
Some cyclists and dog walkers in the evening but few if any in the daytime. No pedestrians- too far from anywhere.
Park at the far end so if someone approaches by car you will have ample warning. You'll hear them on the gravel.
You can both bring your cars for quick exits if needed.

I have two suggestions that I think, would be convenient, yet far enough away from eyes.

1) Kings Park in Ft Richmond. Just a beautiful, little hidden gem of a place.
Lots of hidden away spots there you could enjoy.
2) Just South of St Norbert, on the East side of the highway, there is a few historical buildings situated near the River. You can walk along a little trail near the River.
Cool little place.

Thanks for the suggestions boys. FYI both the lady and I like the irony of meeting in the Trappist Monks monastery in St. Norbert. (i like this girl's sense of humour) And it seems like Shorty1967 has had some good times there. Food for future thought.
