I'm looking to get a part time job, but I have a few restrictions. My schedule is a shifting schedule, so I am not available every weekend. A full day here or there is easily possible. I'm more in it for something to do with my time and to meet new people than the money.

What type of job are you seeking besides part time, what is your experience. I suggest look for employment partime with companys looking for casual employees on an on call basis. That way you can give them your availbllity and if something comes up on the days you are availble they call you.
Mind you as a new casual employee to most places you are at the bottom of the list.
