I was signed up to PIA VPN, (https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/), and everything worked fine until it didn't. Issues arose that could not be resolved by their tech team despite numerous attempts. Frankly, I found their people varied from bored and incompetent to just not very clear on instructions or unfamiliar with both Vuze and Macs.

Thinking of trying Express VPN, but they seem expensive. Anyone have any experience with them, or other companies?

Yeah I've used a VPN every spring on 400 calves.
The "Vertical Pinch Nuetering" device is effective in 99% of Bull calves ,and has a 80% recovery rate of two weeks, using the correct elastics.
I never consulted the Tech team when I bought it....So I can't say if they were bored or incompetent...I mean, how much does a guy need to talk about a castration device.
I'm pretty sure it comes with a instruction manual...But I'd be the wrong guy to ask about that.
I tend to not follow the rules, so instructions just get thrown away with the packaging.

I have the same issue when I hear these tech geeks talk about how difficult AI is. When I was involved in AI (artificial insemination), as long as the cow was in heat, she would usually stand for me and it was relatively straight forward. I had a pretty good success rate with cows being bred 80% of the time. I must admit you do need a strong arm and you need to take care to exercise the other arm or you start to look non-symmetrical.

Is there anyone on this site who isn't so old they don't know what a Virtual Private Network is, or who doesn't seem to be 12 years old?

We should all be using VPN's, so I'm wondering why there seems to be nobody familiar with them.

Sorry Bud...I was just having fun.
Thats also not the first time I've been called a 12 year old ,when it comes to my sense of humour.
I meant no offence,...Good luck with your question.

Hey cock,

Read my PM, I feel it might be too long and complicated for a board discussion.

There was a guy who posted one for you but the post is now missing?

Weird because I was reading the site that he mentioned and it seemed exactly what you were looking for.

I've been using PIA on my mac and iOS devices for 3 plus years with no trouble of any kind. Are you sure you can't fix the trouble you're having? If it's Vuze that's the problem, there's lots of alternativeS like Utorrent or transmission.

And now for a moment of paranoia:

Under their TOS.
Conduct: No illegal activity, transmitting copy written material, DOS attacks etc. (All the usual)

Breach of their conditions
"may result in one or more of these following actions:
Issuance of a warning;
Immediate, temporary, or permanent revocation of access to Privateinternetaccess.com with no refund;
Legal actions against you for reimbursement of any costs incurred via indemnity resulting from a breach;
Independent legal action by Privateinternetaccess.com as a result of a breach; or
Disclosure of such information to law enforcement authorities as deemed reasonably necessary."
How would they know if you breach any of these conditions?
How can they "disclose such information to law enforcement authorities"?
Do they monitor/store your activities?

No guarantees.

I used ExpressVPN yesterday to try to view the men's tennis final on ESPN2. You can choose an IP from any location.

Never saw the match because I don't have a U.S. based cable account. Other than that the VPN worked well.

I thought hiding your IP was enough to gain access? So, you'd still have to have an active account with a cable proviider to watch some things?
