Looking for a hobby (the other one)

I use to play a lot of team sports before the pendemic and nowadays my group of friends have mostly stepped away since none of us are interested in large social gatherings.

Some pendemic hobbies I picked up:

• Model kit building - it eats a lot of time and there's something calming and satisfying building something from scratch.
• Photography - there's some good online courses.
• Golfing - it's nice to suck with friends
• Reading

I just received the LEGO James Bond Aston Martin DB5. I’m saving the assembly to do with the nieces and nephews during Christmas get togethers. It’s 1400 pieces so it may take the team a while.

Reading - unreal how many books I went through in 2020 / 2021. I have to mix it up a bit after too many non fiction books. Trying to find some funny fiction for a while.

That's sick! I seen a couple Lego sets I want but always wonder where the hell I'm going to display it later.

Specifics aside, find something that you can get lost/engrossed doing and lose track of time, something you love and look forward to, and of course something that is not forced.

I’ve seen a coffee table from Ikea with a Falcon under the glass top.
There is a huge Imperial Walker that just came out this week.
