Canbest was my first venture into escort review boards. I joined in 1999, I think. That led to TERB in 2000, followed by MERB and PERB when they were created. I joined PERB before the date shown in my profile, but due to a misunderstanding, my first PERB account was deleted.
Some of you may recall that Canbest was very poorly administered by its owner, who went by the handle Delta 9. Unlike the TERB group of boards, there was no rule against handles that were similar to existing ones. I was posting as Avery, and some asshole started posting as AVERY, and Delta 9 refused to ban that idiot or at least force him (her?) to change their handle, I had to pay $50 for Delta 9 to allow me to post as The Real Avery.. There was very little moderation, and there were many flame wars. Still, it had its moments of usefulness until something better came along.
Because I was, for a while, a fairly prominent reviewer on TERB, I was invited to join a secret board run by Kayla, a part owner of Hands From Heaven MP in Vaughan Township. She ran a rival board to TERB called "ER something", later changed to "Men Behaving Badly" (MBB). The real reviews were posted on the secret board that was attached to MBB , and info was shared there that would never appear on TERB or MBB, e.g escorts with serious behavioural issues, poor hygiene, etc., as well as very graphic review.s I used to travel to Toronto fairly often, and I used to get together with some of the other members of the secret board to share some stories, laughs and a few beers. When Kayla decided to retire from running the secret board, another member took over for a couple of years, and the name was changed to "People Behaving Reasonably Well". It's been defunct for several years, but it was great while it lasted. I had some fantastic experiences with escorts in Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa as a result.
