not sure if I should laugh about this.. shake my head.. or wonder why people are well... just sort of dumb but....

I ran across a woman in the middle of parking in my RESERVED spot at work the other day....smiling at me standing there the whole time.....despite my pointing to the reserved sign.. (she just nodded enthusiastically... and continued her parking efforts... wtf?)
I approach her, asking if she is in fact the person I am expecting any minute.... she grins, says no.. her phone died so she is stopping to 'fix it'..............and stays in my spot.... <thwack!>

I tell her she needs to move as the spot is not for public parking (meanwhile.. 100 feet away, there are 5 empty public spots, which I also pointed out to her).... she looks at me..looks at her phone... smiles at me...... looks at her phone...smiles at me...... *sigh* ...

I told her she has 5 minutes to move her ass out of my spot ;)

...people... are kinda funny

hahah... thank you! that actually did make me laugh out loud <3 and yes.. it is well known I suppose, I have little patience for stupid ppl lol

and actually there was another you would have appreciated even more.... guy from BC parked in my spot (wtf is it with my spot??) and had gone down the street for coffee..... when he returned to his car, I was in the midst of putting a note in his window telling him he was going to be towed.... I told him he was a lucky boy.... and he smiled... and with all the honesty of a two-yr-old... says "I'm from BC.. I didn't know"... what... does that even mean? I've lived in BC and I know people there can read ;)

purrrhaps we need a 'stupid human tricks' thread lol

Ah ah! It happened to me several times, and apparently people don't know how to read in Ontario too (where I am now and will soon not be anymore). One woman was parking at night at the same moment I was going back home. I was lucky to be there at that moment if not her car would have been in my spot the whole night, in winter (and we cannot park our car in the streets in winter!). Another guy had the pleasure to read my papers on his front and back windshields to tell him what I thought. Yep, regarding private parking, it seems that people read "parking". That's all!

Staying in a hotel last week on business, as i was walking from the heap of junk rental vehicle to the hotel main door a woman asks me ' Can I borrow a cigarette ' to which i reply ' no I don't smoke'. Thinking this conversation is obviously done I keep walking. When I hear ' It's okay that you don't smoke...but can I borrow one from you anyway'. I did not respond because being the way I am the sarcasm would have been heavy-duty. And then I would have had to explain it to her as slow as she is...

A waitress once asked me if I smoke. I said no, but I don't mind being smoked. She giggled and said, oh yeah, every boy likes that from girls.

Maybe she was after a different kind of cigarette.

It was a beautiful afternoon to be out on Easter long weekend. Many people were out walking around DT.

A short young petite Asian female had a cap on that said "Run". I don't know why, but my next thought was "Miss Hunter".

At Robson square an all Asian choir was singing gospel songs. Facing them straight across the street were marijuana plants in a pro pot booth.
