Hello Everyone,

New to the boards and hoping I can in the future contribute to the forums and commmunity...

Anyways, I just had a question for all pooners and escorts in regards to locations...

Do most of you find that being in the Vancouver core aka Downtown is best(Seems most ladies are located here)?? What about other factors like parking, and discretion??

Or, does places like Burnaby, Port Moody, Coquitlam and other areas work??? Which area is best besides the Downtown core? and are you willing to travel and or commute. This is also in reference to where ladies are located and if people(pooners) are willing to actually travel/commute.

I am curious if there is other areas that are just as good, I am in Vancouver lots but looking to move here permenately and wondering where the best areas to live/work as I am planning to buy a few condos/places and also perhaps rent them out.

All opinions, suggestions, and comments are appreciated. Thank you.

Generally speaking I tend to be around the City of Vancouver mostly with Burnaby and Coquitlam in 2nd and 3rd.

With C36 in place, I think it's wiser to poon in Van because they have let it known that enforcement is not a priority. The cities with RCMP are the ones that concern me.

Thank you for the responses....

I am a business investor and property investor. I am however not oblivious to this industry as I have had properties in the past and rented them out to ladies.
I mainly rent to travelling business people but renting out to ladies has also worked well but, I usually do a bit of research prior when it comes to renting out to ladies as I have heard horror stories from people in the past..

I am looking for something that is 2bath/2bed or bigger.. However I do disliker the go go go of the downtown core but I know this is more ideal for buisness folk. I am looking to avoid the super high price point of downtown as well but still be close enough that its not an issue.

Parking, Location, Easy to find or commute to are all important factors to me... Ammenties would be awesome but not a deal breaker. I am trying to buy also in an area that will hopefully gain some value but who knows with the real estate market as it staggers and goes up and down constantly.

With all this being said, I was thinking Port Moody, Burnaby, Port Moody or Langley/Cloverdale. I however do have someone in mind who would rent from me that is service provider and has rented from me in the past and is a solid tenant. So, this is why I am also doing some research on the boards to kind of ask around and figure out what might work from a pooners stand point but also from an investment side.

I myself travel so even if I buy only one condo, would be nice to rent it out when I am not around. Hope this helps and that this can help others suggest somethings.

To me this sounds like you should be looking in the Joyce area. Still within the City of Vancouver (less enforcement issues), quick and convenient travel to downtown due to Skytrain connection (and not that far away from Metrotown either), and in an area where there are already many SP's. Lots of high-rises, so should be easy to find a 2-bath/bed apartment quite easily.

I would think that Port Moody and Langley/Cloverdale, though nice for a number of reasons, are less convenient to the downtown areas and may be a bit far out.

What about Brentwood??

As for East Vancouver.. I don't know of any areas or properties really with high rises or even low rises that are updated?? with ammenities??

Same for Cambie, Marine Dr, South Van..

Unless your aware of some hidden gems as far as properties or areas goes?? If so, please do tell! :).

What about Richmond?? Keep in mind, I do think transit and or skytrain is crucial.

I do truly appreciate and thank everyone for the replys by the way.

Well I have tried working a variety of areas now and tried working downtown and paying for the upscale accommodations and although it allowed me to charge a higher rate than it did when I lived and worked in the Surrey/Delta, I found that the cost of rent just bit much too far into my profit. Sure having upscale accommodations is great, but what I find guys really care about in the type of place you provide is whether it's clean. When I workd by Cambie and Robson I found that location to be pretty good and didn't get much complaints about parking, but when I moved over to Yaletown by the Marina, I always had complaints about my clients having a hard time finding parking. I also found that during events and a lot of times during the weekends that business was slow downtown.

Last time I was in the city I rented a place in Mount Pleasant for the first time ever and found it to be a great location. It's very close to downtown, and although parking during the day can be a bit tricky it isn't nearly as bad as downtown and during the evening there are actually lots of empty spots around. I also found that business was fairly regular any day of the week and not so affected by events like it is downtown. You can walk to shopping, banking and great transit routes too.
