sarah, if you find yourself homeless, I can put you up for a month. In exchange you'll need to fork over 100 bucks for rent, plus do all my chores, ie, cleaning. Apparently I don't do enough around here. I'm nocturnal, so you can have the bed at night, I get it in the morning. No incalls to this location though. My other female roomie is a total feminist. Oh and you'll have to lie about what you do for a living.

As I see it she asked for help, from a community we all belong to. If you can help and want to support one of our community members great if not that’s your prerogative.

The first time I heard Sarah's sad story and a cry for help, I was trying to figure out a way to send her money. But something in my gut said wait & see.

The second time this came about I also felt badly for her, but as this saga goes on and on my compassion seems to be dwindling.

It's kind of ironic because the first time I saw she was in financial trouble (I think cancer was mentioned that time) I had a few sharp words for the people who said "she does this all the time". How could they be so cold hearted????

You're absolutely correct Sara, most of the people on PERB, SP's or your current or past clients, don't know you like you know yourself, or as you put it..."know (you) so well".

However, everyone certainly knows their own experiences of life's little lessons. When it comes to money and how to handle it, there just might be a few people here who know how to squeeze a penny and get a dime in change.

There are ladies who share are your vocational counterparts. Some of these ladies are sound money managers and astute businesswomen. They have a unique insight into the pitfalls and issues pertaining to your business and are offering you help.

Of those who are responding to your petition for a loan, whether they are other SP's like yourself and / or people with money management experience, I gather that they would like you to find a path to economic freedom through sound financial principles. While that might not immediately address your crisis, utilizing their advice probably will keep you from this circumstance in the future.

As for your immediate crisis, there have been many suggestions in the previous 30 something posts, some of them could assist you. In my opinion, the ones that want to pass the cap and collect loose change for you, they are compassionate and caring without solving the underlying causes that have you revisiting this financial mess again.

I sincerely hope you confer with those Sp's who are willing to help you... they are specifically able to see it all the issues that are affecting you clearly. If you don't, you most certainly will be back in the same situation before you want to be.

I told you guys.. I don't have problems planning my finances.. I don't at all.. I have a budget taped to my fridge, and I know how many clients I need to see per month to make enough money for everything I need.
I know how much money I can spend, too. I don't spend my money stupidly. It's used only for things I need. I'll only spend extra if I *have* extra to spend.

It's a matter of.. Seriously.. no one was contacting me for quite some time.
