Is it just me or are there way more SP's offering services at the $200/hr rate on LL in the last week or so? It seems like that is the new standard price point whereas only a month ago it felt that $250/hr was the standard price point. I'm almost positive this is happening because not very long ago I thought the agencies typically at $220 were a good deal compared to the typical Indy rate.
But now $220 is being undercut by a lot of options. There are still quite a few holding at that mid $200 range but they seem to be getting quickly outnumbered. I get that there are a lot more scammers populating LL since the BP shutdown and many of those will be part of this trend but there are a number of familiar ladies in that $200 club too.
I made mention of this in a thread in the lounge about the nature of the LL format that shows prices on the list view. I wondered if that easy 'window shopping' would cause the more established ladies who are firm in their price point to get priced out of the market by lower priced SP's. This seems like it might be happening... but is it?
I for one have not taken a chance on any of these lower priced ladies mainly because I've found my preferred lady who I've become a regular for. But I can't say it isn't tempting to save $50+ on some new flavours.
So I'm curious as to what the rest of you are perceiving here? And if you are seeing this trend downwards in price are you finding yourself compelled to try some of these ladies instead of some of the more familiar ladies at their higher (same) prices? I would be interested if the ladies are seeing the same thing and feeling the squeeze at all? This could be a troubling trend for some ladies trying to make ends meet.
