Anyone know who owns live links?
This compnay is fucking huge, and I would like to see their profits. There has been many similar services over the years. I recall one being called "Urban Oasis" (10 years ago) and a more recent one called 'The night Exchange". If I'm not mistaken, they were actually around first. Somehow "Live Links" which was formerly known as "The Chat Line" has captured most of the market share and have just destroyed the competion over the years.
Everwhere I turn I see billboard ads, TV ads, and huge newspaper ads. No matter what city I'm in I see the ads everywhere.
I guess you can spend that much on ads when your product is virtually free.
I was about 13 years old when I got a free trial on The chat line and Night Exchange. ( Before the days of the 'net) . It was the highlight of the year. hehe......
