Live music in downtown tonight?

Hey guys,

I have a friend who is visiting me from our of the country and would like to take him to a place that has live music, preferably rock (chili peppers, pearl jam, etc..) and in downtown. Either tonight or tomorrow night.

Does anyone know of a place?

Soundgarden are at the QE theatre tomorrow night. It says sold out but you could probably find tickets on Craigslist or scalp them outside the venue.

I've always fancied the Bourbon. Its advertised as Vancouver's only dedicated country and western bar and it sounds like a lot of fun. I vaguely know the manager but I've never been. I think its a lot of cheap shots and hootin' and hollerin', if you like that kind of thing. Anyone been?

Soundgarden sounds cool. Don't know how I didn't know they were coming. I would listen to them in high school (in South America). Thx gonzo34.

There are loads of Soundgarden tickets advertised on Craigslist. Looks like they start at about $85 a pop.
