'Little Surfer Girl' ('Bruna Surfistinha') is probably the best movie I've seen on the subject of prostitution (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1587828/). The movie is Brazilian which means no Hollywood nonsense and everything is straight to the point. Torrent file is available here (English subtitles are included): https://userscloud.com/5ndontx1wzg1

This movie is highly recommended for Peter MacKay to disillusion him about his irrational, naive and plain stupid views on prostitution. It's also recommended for:

- SPs: you will find out why men come to see you, as lots of you are totally clueless about it. As a result you may wish to get some 'class' and stop treating men like they are just horny dogs, and get many more happy repeat clients.

- pooners: you will find out what being a good SP really is and may stop giving tips or even patronizing altogether those SPs who don't deserve it. You may stop falling for the retarded propaganda about poor innocent 'victims' who can't make their own decisions and 'forced' into sex trade.

Any feedback is welcome.

Can you summarize the movie and tell us why you feel it's "probably the best movie I've seen on the subject of prostitution"?

The movie covers most aspects of prostitution emphasizing that being an SP is a free and valid choice. Achieving excellence in this occupation can actually make you a celebrity.

Key points:

- a young girl from an upper middle class family studying in a prestigious high school wants to be independent and make money on her own. She loves sex and decides to become an SP.
- she loves what she is doing, learns quickly and becomes the most popular girl in her micro.
- eventually she is invited to an upscale micro which serves high-rollers, but decides to start her own business instead.
- she starts her own blog online, which becomes the most popular in Brazil.
- she refuses to settle down with rich men - being independent is more important for her. She can quit easily, but just doesn't want to.
- when she is a celebrity and TV personality anyone can still have a session with her, and her rates don't go up.
- eventually she settles down with her former client and writes a book about her life which becomes very popular.
- she never regrets about being an SP.

P.S. Her story is true.

Thanks phreak. The industry needs all the positive publicity it can get.

With all the legal, political and religious opposition the industry has faced in almost every country in the world since the beginning of time, it's pretty amazing that we're all still here, doing what people have been doing for centuries ...

I'm proud of my career and my involvement in the industry, but at the same time, sometimes I'm ashamed to be associated with the depraved, inhumane, criminal side of things. I wish we could clean things up ourselves, to ensure everyone got treated fairly and decently.

With the recent media articles regarding pimps and traffickers being arrested, I've been asking myself if there's anything more we can do to stop people like this from operating in our communities.

See something similar many times in real life... giros that loves sex.. loves helping men and their fantasies. .. are very good at what they do..are in big demand at the local agency. Deside to go out on their own and even do better.. make lots of money ..blows it on drugs..parties .and boy friends..
They even have become celebs in some way... Yep I am sure there were many guy was ting to take them away from it all ....I was one .. perhaps a rich guy here and there . but she rejects them all.
In the end she needs to get away from it all ... The boy friend..The drugs and parties..and find her self again....She goes back to her home town.. becomes a truck driver for a while.. but still find she has to deal with her demons. ..
She finally does settles down with a nice guy.. has a baby...and just loves to cook..drink. hunt and fish and live the simple Canadian life in the north..

P's. It a true story.

There are many stories in the naked city..about prostitutes. . Not all have happy ending.. These two do...but I many can tell you ones that don't ..even me.

I'm all for providing helpful info to anyone who is involved in either side this activity/hobby, but I think you need to work on your approach. You'll get a better response from people if you don't suggest they are "clueless" or "classless" or gullible.

It feels like you are carrying a chip on your shoulder.

I think if you were to look at it from a macro point of view it makes total sense. I can see how on a personal level it might appear that way.

But ask yourself this : Are there women who act entitled? Or think that just because they might have the looks that it means they can get any guy off? Certainly.

Are there men who are total pushovers who accept any and all of women's bad behaviours and STILL tip them? Also most certainly.

Interesting point... Being 'politically correct' is not always a good approach, especially when it comes to issues which are quite outrageous. 'Clueless', 'classless' and 'gullible' - this is actually to say it nicely... :) The issue is not my approach, but whether this kind of approach is warranted or not. And I strongly believe I have all the reasons including my own experience to consider it warranted.

I agree with you, however the OP suggested that lots of the ladies here are like that and that all the pooners here are like that.

So you know all of the people in these forums, male and female, well enough to make a blanket statement as to the type of people we are?
