The always "super mediator" "Felix the Cat" had an idea of "discussing the posting of lists" in the review section, (my 2017 list as the reference point), some think it may be "bragging", some think insightful, thoughts (and don't hold back on my behalf)...?

I always enjoy your posts man I wont lie when I read them a small part of me gets pissed that I cant even spend 10% of what you spend a year on this but then that fades away after all the good experiences ive had because of posters like you whose reviews ive read which lead me to have amazing times with some amazing ladies. Those are my thoughts I dont think its braggy I think its useful.
This is different though, I think that is geared more towards reviews in general, this is about the year end summary type list?

The 'list' threads, (yours in particular) are always, at the very least, a good read and more often a very useful tool. It's confirmation on the experiences we've shared and great intel on ones we haven't. Having met a few members here (and several others via 'osmosis') provides a solid 'base-line' for me when it's time for me to venture up to your great City/Country.

Some may take umbrage to the audacity of the sheer volume, but I tip my hat to any/all prolific hobbyists willing to share.

I like the Lists. What I don't like are braggarts. You are not a braggart. BadgerJohn was a braggart and rightfully banned.

I blog mine. Been doing them since day 1. I review most the women I see and do a brief summary of who my favourites were and the type I usually go for. I've helped many other people make decisions when they are looking for additional information on a particular SP. It is what it is, this is a review site and they can find it useful or not.

I read your list, and to me it didn't come across as bragging (perhaps no easy feat, in light of how prolific you were)

The one thing I took from your list, in particular, was that you noted approximately (or exactly?) how much time you spent with each person. I appreciated that aspect, as it gives a summary indication not likely available in a review made shortly after seeing someone new.

For example, I may state, "I really enjoyed meeting this person and I intend to see them again" in a review, but maybe after 2 or 3 visits, I've had my fill. On the other hand, I may continue seeing someone regularly for many months, which wouldn't be reflected in a review made after one (or two or three) visits. For that reason, I found your list useful, not "just a list."

Note: this was way more word-y than necessary; I'm trying to be more concise. Sorry.

I believe there is some value to having a lists thread. Not all members post reviews of their experiences. It will help at the very least to know who some have seen in the event you are looking for information and search results come up empty. Also lists would show ones ‘tastes’ and help members find others who share similar criteria in this hobby.

For my own list, it's a personal reference to go through the year and think who I had fun with and think who it would be great to repeat with in 2018.

It's not an exact science and the way I run my life, the list has a bit of randomness to it.

I was in a bit of a funk biz wise and personally a while back. Had a couple of meh type sessions that made me pause for a month. Then I got motivated to see Adelaide Jones during a weekend. Mainly because she works weekends sometimes and every date with her has been super high energy and above all, fun. She broke my string of meh sessions. She's definitely a top provider in my book.

:strawberry:

I bring this up because I referred my past lists and all the gems that made me happy in the past were right there on lists I made a few years ago. So I'd say my list is also a plan moving forward.

I like the lists posted in the blog section, as badbadboy and girth-brooks were doing.

Also fine to post them in Reviews too. Pro:
  • understand the reviewer's tastes
  • ideas on whom to see (or whom not to see, if you know the reviewer's tastes are different from yours)
  • starting point to ask more questions / do extra research
Contra:
  • outdated info (when it's close to a year old, it's not very reliable; including retired SPs is questionable)
I don't do lists myself, partly because of the choice to share only some of my experiences.
Then never sure if it's appropriate to promote a former regular I was very happy with, but we grew apart and not in touch anymore.

Bragging does not seem to be a problem with the lists. Honestly, many reviews are driven by the sense of pride in having those life experiences. There's that, but wintersurfer's never exhibited a tendency to brag. We saw lots of bragging examples from others on PERB to compare, such as: a Penthouse-style story with a focus on the reviewer's sexual abilities; mentioning services she's not providing to others; telling how SP is cancelling her prebooked dates to see this client; expensive multi-hour setups in Europe that are hardly relevant to any reader; etc. The intent is rather obvious in those cases.
