Used to love sitting around in the old Irish Heather in Gastown. Loved the Guiness and some Bangers n mash....The pub disappeared a while ago due to renovations. And i just recently found out the pub moved to new digs right across the street.I've tried it because a friend really liked it, so after a golf round we sat on a deck and had a couple. Although it's not too bad and similar to corona with lime or a mix between a beer and a cooler, I wouldn't sit there and drink a ton of it though. To each their own, I've heard mixed thoughts about it. As far as going into an establishment and drinking I go to my local pub to enjoy the companionship and conversation with friends over a couple of wobbly pops. I don't sit there and get "wasted" or even intoxicated. Just a couple with friends. If someone prefers to sit at home by themselves and drink away I would find that a little more boring.
I agree.Its worth a try.....but I wouldn't buy a case of it![]()
My view is if it's the lime taste one is after buy Corona or something similar and a lime.
Canadian Budweiser with lime flavouring added has no appeal to me at all.
But then again, FTW do I know
Peace

Fully agree...it's crisp and fresh and excellent with an extra lime piece squeezed into it...on a HOT day.
Bare Facts I need to know where your buying your booze ----> 6 bucks a dozen is cheaper than beer beer.I've tried the Bud Lime, it's different some will like some won't. I don't think it's worth the $6 a dozen here in Alberta. For a cheaper alternative try Big Rock Lime, same price as a dozen Canadian, or it was last time I saw it. Also, I wasn't Mountain Crest advertisng a Lime Beer?
What he said!Adding lemon or lime to bad beer does not make it any better.
well the verdict is in - I'll go give this stuff a try and report back.Stuff taste like detergent ... im not even kidding ... and I love beer. I will never have a bud light lime ever again
I'm a wino - completely admit it !!I had a Bud Light lime just a few minutes ago.
It is better tasting in bottles then in cans.
Try Big Rock lime instead. $10 a case cheaper and just as good or better then Bud Light lime. I ran out of BR Lime... so having a BL Lime.
I'd offer you a Bud Light Lime tonight Annalise but sounds like your into the WINE tonight!
lol
If you like real beer, then check out Innis & Gunn oak aged beer. What he said!
Cheers! WS.
That would be nice - but many of us work during the day!patio tomorrow afternoon - maybe give the computer a break and we'll survey lime beers ??
Christ...no wonder you have to pay women to f**k you. You're BOOOOOOORING.Lime beer is, well, as you've said, all the rage right now. It's nothing more than a fad. The excitement will die down eventually.
Personally, my view is that paying money to buy beer or wine or hard liquor at a bar to get hungover and feel like shit the next morning is not my idea of fun--or sound economics. If a person must drink like a fish, then it's a lot more economical to buy this stuff at a liquor store (for far less money) and drink it at home either by oneself or with friends.
Enjoying a glass or two of good wine with a meal is fine. Going to a bar to get wasted is the same as literally flushing your money down the toilet and striking a hammer repeatedly against your forehead.
I never drink. Period.
