So I had to make an appointment online. It says its a Canadian Company. But its 1-800 number for customer service is in the States. I just wanted to make sure the doctors requisition made it to the office, so I don't show up and they don't have the paperwork.
I called a 1-800 number and waited online for 10 min. So I'm thinking their customer service is shit.
So the local lifelab has a phone number with a voice answearing service. Left a message and I'll see if they contact me.
Not holding my breath for this.
And I personally I don't like it that my documents/information go to the states.
With this Covid thing, the clinics are doing things over the phone (booking a doctor appoint over the phone. With lifelabs its book an appointment, instead of waiting in a room for hours on a weekday, waiting for someone to take blood work etc.

Maybe my memory is going but I remember getting a family doctors appointment easy. Now I don't have one and use clinics. Wonder who screwed the system up? After all I am human and need someone to blame... :D:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I went for bloodwork at Lifelabs about a month ago. Booked online the day before....was in and out in 15 minutes.

I’ve never been able to book doctor appointments so easily with minimal wait times to boot. I hope telemedicine is here to stay.

Well I hope it is too, beats sitting the the clinic office waiting for a doctor for 1 hour. If it was more than 1 hour I went home and came back. And sitting in the lifelabs too.

Anyone know how many 15 minute appointments a doctor can fit into an hour and how much they are being paid? I'm cynical but working to avoid assumptions.
