Liberals win Maritimes

The Liberals are coming out of the Maritimes leading all other parties 2 to 1.

What does it mean for the rest of the country?

Damned if I know.

Probably not much... it'll make a difference when we hear the results in Ontario and Quebec.

I agree that Quebec and Ontario will decide the election. I'm just curious whether the Atlantic results show any kind of a trend, or whether they mean nothing

They usually mean nothing as they only represent 10% of the total seats. That being said, only 133 more seats for a majority govnt:Þ

The Liberals need OUT... but the conservatives are not the ones who should hold any power at ALL!

I am still hoping for a Liberal minority -- I really wanted deep down to see Martin defeated in some way --- but even more, I didn't want to see the Conservatives win.
