Mmmm where to start. I have recently moved to Calgary, and have now gone to 3 different MP's. 2 out of 3 of the girls were way overweight, with the exception of Tina. Not one could be called really good looking.
But, from a lot of the reviews on here, some of us are willing to settle for 2nd best, at 1st class prices, with 3rd rate service.
The menu's are very very limited as well.
I guess I was spoiled from being in Edmonton and enjoying some of the best looking women in the province, with top quality 1st class service, at the same prices as Calgary. When you have experienced the likes of Sydney, Ariel, Brooke, Ashley, Diana, and Jade, it is really dissappointing to move to a much better city, and have to settle for second rate ladies.
I for one am now going to boycott all the MP's in Calgary untill I start seeing some websites, and top notch ladies. In the mean time, when ladies from IN, and Carmen Fox's are coming to Calgary, as well as any of the ladies at Blue Orchid, I'll definately enjoy their company instead.
Maybe with a team effort here, we might be able to change what is being offered.

I agree totally. With the exception of the visitors and a very few ladies I like, I'll not be going to a single MP until I see a good turnaround in Calgary. Better quality, service, and women all around would make this town a lot more fun to cruise! I'll be seeing a lady from E-town in a week or two, and if I like her I'll make her a reg when she visits. Lets see some of the quality ladies that come from Montreal, Vancouver, and E-town!!

There is a reason I have moved basically to SP's over this last year. Too much shopping around to only find a MP where a girl will only let you look, and don't touch, etc, etc. Have always had pretty good luck at CY. Actually had a regular (once a month) girl that I finally went back to see after a year. Service had not changed either.

That is of course a YMMV kind of Question, I am not a rookie so IMHO,
in no order, Daisy,Cami,Michelle,and Tess. As well there are a few hidden gems in the city, who I will ask if I can at least post their names.

Calgary is in need indeed.

There is absolutely no comparison in the studio's between these two cities. I worked an E/C job for 2yrs and can tell you that Etown rules the roost when it comes to the studio's, the ladies in them, and the service provided within. I did manage to find the odd hottie in Ctown now and again, but they always seemed to be gone in a month max. Services widely varied in Ctown girl to girl, as well did the price. I had found a real hottie on the one on 17th at one time but she only lasted a couple of weeks as well. As far as the incall goes, which is what I eventually resorted to, again you need to either insult a few by turning them down on arrival, (seems they did not look in the mirror in last few years so discriptions can be way off) or bang a few ugly ones not to insult them. Then again, did find a few incalls to be very hot. I also find the incall rates in ctown to be less than that of etown. 1.6-1.8 all in. Being that I only used the newspaper to locate these SP's, I found that a tremendous amount of them keep changing their names. Makes the good ones hard to find again, and the not so good (actually real fvkin bad) look like new adds. So to sum it up, I could name 20 extreme hotties in Etown MP's, and not one in Ctown. Not that they don't exist in calgary they are just harder to find.
As far as the edmonton incall goes, more consistant on a hottie arriving at your door, but expect to pay more for sure.

The net has gone a long way in SP's in last 2 yrs, recommend it in either city as each person's taste will be different.

I am really pleased with this thread, Some guys with BALLS willing to say NO to being taken for a ride. Hey guys, there may be some lean times ahead but if we get the word out maybe the service will improve, if not then...I guess an occaisional trip to Edmonton is in order. I'm not into squeezing someone to do things they don't want to do....but come on, we need to stop paying $$$ to get touched...it's pathetic.

My feeling on this kind of topic is that there are way to many variables.
The original question was about MP's, I have already said that I do not use them so I have to go by what I read and hear. From what I can gather the MP's here in Calgary are in a sorry state, and if this is the case then maybe you are right that members should say so and stay away!

On the other hand, about a year ago, in the Sask. forum the same kind of comments, about no good Ladies and how bad it was there!
Now a year later you will find that after a little research and digging by some members (yes I was one of them) that Saskatoon has "discovered" they have some Ladies who would be at the top in any city in the world!!!

The same kind of Ladies are here in Calgary!!! But most do not even know that perb exsists!!! Meeting Ladies is easy, but getting really good sessions takes time and effort from both parties, (and yes it is costly) !

IMHO it all boils down to (mostly) How we the clients treat the Ladies, Show them that you have a bit of interest in them as people and you are likely to have a better time, walk in and slam your money down and bang away and then complain about the service and price....

This is pure and utter B.S. I have pooning experience in both Edmonton and Calgary, and am WELL aware of what each city has to offer.

I am a "great client". I am reliable, punctual, do not haggle, respectful, do not ask for weird freaky stupid stuff, I am honest, and flexible. I do not "slam my money down", etc etc etc. It's incredibly lame for you to throw in the ole' "well, it must be all the clients' fault" crap.

The woes in Calgary are well-documented, and the opinions held by a multitude of people. All those people can't be wrong. And they aren't.

I can go to Edmonton and have a choice of several SP's who blow away anything in Calgary (with maybe the exception of Daisy or Tess, by the looks of their reviews) - Ashley, Lauren, Samantha, Gabrielle, Shawna, Claudia, Crystal, Quanna, Melanie, and the list goes on. And we're talking looks, service, AND attitude.

There are a small handful of adequate SP's in Calgary, but NOTHING like selection they have in Edmonton - and not even near the VFM.

I've met a couple decent ladies here - and I'm trying to arrange a meeting with Daisy - but other than that, until things improve, I'm willing to withhold my cash for when I KNOW I will get the best bang for my buck.

The biggest difference I've seen between the quality of service at the MPs in Edmonton versus Calgary is that the Edmonton girls understand the importance of a 1st impression. (As Shadow indicated in the start of this thread, the good ones in Calgary are only in the shops for a very short period of time. I would hazard a guess: they get overwhelmed by being booked up all the time or they make the money they needed to move on.) But the Edmonton market understands that a great first impression will generate return business! The indys of the Calgary scene seem to understand the importance of that simple marketing lesson.

When I first started pooning with any frequency at all about 17 years ago, it was in MP's in Edmonton. About 15 years ago, I started to travel to Calgary for business with some frequency, and given the apparent openness with respect to incall service (reflected in the licence #'s in ads in the paper, etc.) I started using SP's in Calgary. At that time, I found the SP experience much superior to the hit and miss one would get at the MP's at home.

For as much as Kate's and other agencies have taken hits here over the time i've been a member, I gotta say that I had only a couple of less than great experiences. In large part that was due to the fact that once I find an SP I really like, I tend to be relatively monogamous, in the sense that I'm a "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" kind of guy, and was able to see 1 or 2 ladies for many happy years (where have you gone Connie/Veronica of Kate's?).

It's only since I joined Canada Adult Fun and PERB, that I've ventured back into MP's in Edmonton. So far, so great...

But I suspect that the biggest reason you get such good quality is strongly related to what's been discussed in earlier posts - ie. between Websites and the review board's ya gotta perform, or you're not going to attract business. The only other aspect I can speculate on is that it sounds like a lot of guys looking for the bargain basement try Calgary's MP's. If that's the clientele, they probably can't attract the top girls??

MP ladies vs. Escorts

Well it seems that some of the conversation drifts to Escorts as well. I have met a couple of Escorts in Calgary and was very impressed. Claire, Silke, Morgan. These ladies were terrific. But, if you want to see them, you either have to have your own place or a hotel. Whereas the MP ladies in Calgary are another story.
The three that I have been to were low class right from the get go.
Two out of the three ladies were dressed in Sweat pants and T shirts.!!!!!
Now, that really impresses you at the start. The other was wearing baggy jeans and tank top.
Now, this is first impressions. So, some recomendations might be,

Start dressing up a little. Try to impress the clients with your assets.
(But maybe if they don't have any, they wear the sweats and jeans to cover something up).

Having their hair done is also a great motivator. At least washed anyway.

Next, maybe try to get in shape a bit. Compared to 110 - 120 llbs in Edmonton, 160-180 lbs is not desireable. (with the exception of Tina).

Now, last but not least. The owners and managers really need to start hiring ladies that are a minimum of a 7. No more 4 or 5s, or less.
All of us,(the clients, the ladies and the owners know why we are going there, so let's start acting like it. You can't tell me that in a city like Calgary that there are no young, beautifull, sexy ladies that could be hired.
So, get on with it, and let's catch up to Edmonton. We all compete with them in Football, hockey and baseball. So....................

It just seems that there are a lot of old, tired, overweight, unemployed ladies that figure this is a good way to make a buck, so they open up a hole in the wall, and then proceed to charge outrages prices for an inferior product. Hire the young, sexy good looking SP's and you'll still make money.

i) Where are the hot babes?

My guess is that in a wealthy city like Calgary, the hotties can just find a sugar daddy within about 4.3 seconds.

ii) Poor service and value for money.

Not only is it important to vote with your wallet, but many times customers don't say WHY they won't return. If a restaurant doesn't get return visitors, they might think it's because of poor location, the menu, the advertising, whatever. So if the restaurant or server or whatever doesn't have repeat clients and isn't busy, they might think it's because of reasons that aren't correct.

So we have to both vote with our wallets AND explain why. But that can be difficult face-to-face with someone, I know. And that's why these Boards are so useful. This assumes the ladies read things here.

Personally, there was a yop-ranked masseuse who retired a couple months ago who I visited about 10 times over the last 3 years. She gave outstanding service and set the bar fairly high in ways that only I-N seems to be willing to match.

I respectfully disagree on this one. While I can believe that Calgary is more wealthy than Edmonton, it is not more wealthy than Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, or Las Vegas, to name a few cities which have thriving SP industries. There must be more to it than per capita income.

Also, if anything, wealth tends to attract SPs, not the other way around.
