Anyways I heard the sound many times be for but this time I decided to look up who was Lesley Gore and got an education.
Very sexy woman for one thing ,but the song actually many a lot to her and the times she lived in ,and you could see it in how she sang it. In a time when guys thought they owned there girl friends and wives ,you would here that in re lyrics of many of the song , this song said "No you don't ". But what most people did not know was she was gay and the massage was also that i would conform to what everyone thinks I should be .
It kind of felt like a slap in the face to guys.
