Lemmy slept with "only" 1000 women

I was watching the Lemmy (from Motörhead) documentary on Netflix last night, and in response to the claim that he'd slept with 2000 women, Lemmy responded that it was probably "only 1000". He said that wasn't very much, considering that he's in his mid-60's now.

If you do the math, that's 1000 women over 50 years. 20 per year. A different woman every two or three weeks.

Not to shabby! If you had Lemmy's fame and finances, what kind of numbers would you reach?

i think if lemmy has really had 1000 women that'd be pretty good for him.

when i watched that doc i didn't see much of evidence of a vast kilmister fortune. he may have song rights, royalties etc but he looked woefully cash poor.

lemmy was a notorious speed and booze freak, substances not known for their cialis-like effect. his health has deteriorated over the past few years so if he made that tally he would have had to do it many years ago.

i go to lots of head-banger shows, including motorhead a few times, and the crowd is usually 90% guys. of the few females in attendance, not many would rate much higher than 'yikes'. now go back to the heyday 70's and subtract the nice clothes, good hygiene, grooming, attractive hairstyles etc etc. and the 1000-women mark would be a giant challenge. i guess low standards and promiscuity help balance things out.

I love Motorhead!! Lemmy is way cooler than Gene. Gene irritates me and always has. Kiss irritates me lol. Sorry Love 2 lick . I do love a few of their early songs though.

Edit to add: If I were to pick good Head Banger bands it may include AC/DC, Metallica, Scorpions, and Iron Maiden. Just me but I consider Motorhead more of a loud garage band than anything of talent per se.
