No, not me! (although I'm sure a few of you wish I'd leave, LOL!).

I've noticed that some ladies put this in their ads (whether it is true or not?).
Just curious if this makes you want to see an SP more if you hear she is leaving soon.
Personally I prefer to forge long term relationships with a few regular ladies so seeing someone, no matter how fantastic they may be, would not interest me if I knew it was going to be a one and done.
I also realize it may be to alert regulars but in my experience most ladies know of their impending retirement far enough ahead, to inform their regulars in person.

Is the allure of seeing someone that one last time a thing for some guys?

What's your opinion on this particular marketing ploy?

Usually I've found it to be just a gimmic to attract more business. Most rescent one here in Vic was an sp who's name I won't mention but said she was going back to school (why I Don'tknow because she acts like she's smarter than 99% of the population ) Long story short, I think it lasted about a week and then she was back on BP advertising just as much as before.
Personally I don't care one way or the other if they advertise this but if your gonna go, go.

Some girls leave the country... Some get married... Some have children... Some decide they hate the industry... Some wanna leave and then huge expensive things come up... And know this is an easier way.... Some do it for years every week as some sort of strange way to advertise.... Take it for what it is... As for me I was going to leave but medical expenses for a disabled child won't allow that for now :)

All I can say is if it's an SP whose company you really enjoy, go see her if she says she is leaving/retiring etc.

Nothing worse than regrets, sense of loss and having to say woulda coulda shoulda.

We have had some awesome women retire over the past few years that luckily I got to see before they departed.

I partly agree with Jethro. But I also have seen it as a courtesy and a signal that some might like to heed. No big deal one way or other. If I hadn't seen the gal for awhile there was probably a reason and the news wouldn't do much more than get a congratulatory note.

I am here.
I can only recall seeing one lady as a result of her "retiring" post. But, she was a lady I had postponed seeing. So, I took advantage of her notice of pending retirement.

It met my expectations, and I regret not seeing her before she left.

I would avoid these like the plague, after the indifferent Reiko and horrible Doremi, both of whom I unwittingly saw when they were about to leave.

OTOH, if it's someone you have seen regularly, you don't need the ad to tell you she's leaving.

Merry Christmas to you EuroSZabina. Now this catches my attention as I always wanted to see you. But I live in white rock and it's a long drive

I've gotten stuck in the retirement revolving door. Im not going to jinx myself by saying anything again before I leave.
When it's the right time, and life doesn't throw any surprises your way, then you'll be able to leave holding your head high. Nothing wrong with that.
