I like the female condom, once I got the hang of using it. It’s great for duos! Not everyone likes the look of them though, as part of it remains on the outside, and the crinkling sound can be weird for sure, but if you can get past that they’re pretty great. They can sometimes be hard to find though and a lot more expensive, so I don’t use them as often as I’d like.

Yes! It increases sensation for clients and decreases friction for me, which can be helpful in some cases (ie. more pleasureable greek stretch with less friction). Only thing is that it takes a bit longer to put in vs the time it takes to put on a condom 👀 I haven't noticed any crinkly sound in my experience - I was probably distracted by other things 😇

You can get pretty much any contraceptive aside from pills over the counter in Canada; particularly BC. You can even walk into a pharmacy and grab an IUD off the shelf, if you’re more of a DIY type with your uterus. I can confirm this because I did so in order to have an example IUD when teaching the healthy relationships unit in Careers 10.

BC is ridiculously hardcore (in a good way) with access to contraceptives and sexual health, particularly for people with a uterus because most of it is then free. For stuff like HPV or monkey pox, it is a really good deal. I think it cost me ~$240 for my three rounds of HPV as an adult male… the only demographic for which it isn’t free 😭

Fortunately, it appears that they offer HPV vaccines for male children born in 2005 or later now! It used to be done in school for only girls, but maybe that has changed. I brute-forced my way into getting the monkeypox vaccine ASAP years ago because I wasn't going to work with that kind of risk to my quality of life 😋

Also a fan of the Skyns - sorry! I like the smell and I had read somewhere that it's the added fragrance smell more than the material 😳 I have trusty 'ol Trojan at the incall too though

Wow when did you get your HPV vaccine? I got mine 3 years ago when I turned 27 so if I had gotten it a year before I would have been covered by MSP. But since I was out of the age range, I had to pay myself and I paid ~275 per shot as I paid around 850 for all 3 shots of gardasil 9. Good thing my work insurance covered majority of it.

They have some benefits. If you can’t maintain an erection, you can still play. They create more friction as well. I just don’t like the sound or the way they look. But that’s minor compared to the benefits they might offer to some people.
