Originally she was to arrive on the 22nd, I booked that day, then she moved arrival/departure back one day as per the schedule on her website. 23rd - 26th instead. Never notified me of the change, whereas in the past she has shown such courtesy. And as I said, did not respond to my attempts to re-book.
She cancelled her last two scheduled visits at the last minute, the last two over the 14 day quarantine restriction in Manitoba. Unlike many other ladies she does not in the least want to risk bending or breaking any Manitoba public health order. Which begs the question: she knew well in advance about the Manitoba quarantine policy, why not leave Winnipeg off her schedule until the ordinance is lifted, as a courtesy to us ? I did have my eye on someone else as well - who has now left - but chose her instead.
She now has Winnipeg penciled in for late August. As she would have been in the West for more than 14 days, if she is asymptomatic on Aug 23 she would not be required to quarantine. If she came straight from the East, it would be a different story. Her own interpretation may be that she is an Eastener and might as well stay away, I doubt the restrictions on visitors from the East will be lifted in August.
If you want to see her likely best to wait to the last minute to see what she does. As well it's not inconceivable the 14 day quarantine is re-applied to visitors from the West at some point.
