Now before I go on I will state that I do not have a very high opinion of police. Personally I think most cops are assholes but that said I wonder about this.
For them to come in with guns drawn they would have to be looking for more than just to bust some hooker.
I wonder if this was the same SP who had recently claimed on her website to have been choked and sexually assaulted by a client.

Wondering if neighbors complained. Otherwise, why single one out over the more obvious Nevada's/Broadways/Moonlight "licenced" targets. Or are the next?

That was my first thought, one of the newer SP in Winnipeg and her had gotten into a pissing match awhile ago
Was it the SP that was raided, or the house? There is a huge difference, especially for those independent ladies out there who are staying well withing the laws providing service to a needy community...

However, I wouldn't turn this into a witch hunt. This is "that" time of year. Until mid July, ladies should be very careful.
No conspiracy or any other nonsense. I am not adding to speculations as I haven't a clue.
If you were operating an MP and paying the 4K a year to do so, wouldn't you complain to the city about it? I can see that more than an SP. The SP would do damage to herself doing that.
A lie will do the work of truth once spoken out loud, so please don't do this or turn a "heads up, ladies" thread into a "which one of you did it?" thread.

I recommend never emailing, msn, or texting. A phone call doesn't leave a record, other than that you called. But an email that lists rates, services, address and appt time is pretty straightforward and undeniable. And nothing can ever get completely deleted when it is received thru these methods: I see some 60 minute type shows that produce the copy of these interactions all the time. Play smart. If the sp won't deal by phone, move on.

Guns drawn by cops would mean they felt the SP/someone inside was a threat to them otherwise they would not pull out their guns as every time they do that, don't they have corresponding paper work?
This is just way too fishy for any legit SPs to have to worry.

So it sounds like you know what you are talking about. What does this mean for clients? Will they be going after clients too?The Morals unit and the "Green Team" (WP Drug n Gang Unit) are together now they used to be seperate they Executed the warrant. They bust in guns blazing all the time, thrown shit around n talk smack. You shut your mouth and DO NOT MAKE EYE CONTACT n wait to speak with a lawyer you don't go toe to toe with them pic your battles.

In that "SCOTTY" guy's case back in 2000 he was charged with living of the avails n they went as far as charging ALL persons working with him with a some "Organized Crime" charges.... They are clearly going to make an example of Her. Licensing has nothing to do with this it is not even little legal criminal shit this is now a FEDERAL charge.
This has not only effected her n the girls she's running but in the coming weeks... they'll have found everything they need to know on those computers. I hate to kick someone when they are down but this is going to effect ALL of us ladies. OUTCALLS are perfectly legal any call where the lady comes to you (be it your home or hotle room) but going to an incall location is not.
Anyone making money off of another prostitute be it a driver, pimp or madam can be charged with living off the avails. Then to openly dangle a steak in there faces advertising openly that you are running numerous men and women KNOWING full well that crosses the line. I made her aware that they wanted to get to her in december of last year and that i was then questioned about her. But everything i said fell on deaf ears. She was then fully aware of the risk being taken and still was gathering information and placing all SP's and clients connected to her at risk. A well known SP reached out to help another SP and myself when we were stung and we are more then greatfull. In the licensing cases the clients are not a risk it's about us girls. This is now a federal 'Common bawdy house' charge this is beyond serious this will not just effect business but WILL have VERY serious repercussions in our personel lifes in the future this can effect your family n any serious carrer paths anyone might be in, or in school for. And then to STILL continue fanning the flame, and STILL run girls... your asking to be made an example of and further putting the rest of us girls at serious risk. My case was different and I was not placing anyone else at risk by continuing to operate. I am not trying to stall anyones business but after hearing the information from the horses mouth and KNOWING THE LAW. You were in clear violation of the law and you knew it all along and you admitted to it. But still you keep breaking the law openly just slapping them in the face with it to... and then once others start backing you up we're gonna get pegged off one by one and no one is gonna say anything until more then half of the ladies are slammed with federal charges. There is no running around this on the wording based in the ads and most lawyers are gonna need some crazy ass 8-10 thousand dollar retainer for this because it's federal.... holy hell i'm just gonna stop there I am not trying to give yu'all heart attacks but sometimes there is valid grounds for SP's to "Police" other sp's. Again I am not trying to upset clients or Sp's those who have educated themselves in the field should maybe setting something up to let ALL clients know what is the legal route for them and what is not. Because i bet my soul once this get's into the news it will be every SP for herself and "ain't no one wanna go under the bus!!!"

it is standard operating procedure for police to enter, guns drawn in orser to secure the area and ensure officer safety. i know it's ridiculous and we are working to create better policies and procedures in this regard here in vancouver that couldbe promoted to other police services across canada.
i'm pointing out that this always the way police do it especially organized crime task force people-the police say they hire "tough guys" because gangsters are tough..... and also feel sex industry workers and community members stability and safety are a resonable casualty in the fight against organized crime or against the exploitation of youth.
this so-called brothel was being run in an ethical and almost cooperative manner. the workers were treated horribly and humiliated during the police operation in a way that went way beyond reason.
these type of viscous raids are happening in vancouver as well as a result of human trafficking fear mongering and are causing wide spread harm.
as far as info on a computer, i don't believe it can prove you visited an SP. you could say"yes, i e-mailed and booked an appointment, but i chickened out!" how can they prove other wise?
as far as an sp ratting them out....i feel it was probably a grumpy neighhbour jealous of the sp way of life....especially since the workers in question are very out of the closet in the community.
