An update and what you should do:

The guy has registered through godaddy.com There is not too much they can do as he is not hosted but if they get enough complaints they will take action: trademarkclaims@godaddy.com

He is using mydomain.com as a go between. According to his whois listing this is his host however he is actually forwarding to his own IP address, a company called spdnetwork.com which I believe he owns though I could be wrong about that. He also runs thebestmediacompany.com

He knows what he is doing is illegal. Although he owns a hosting and domain registry company he is going through godaddy and mydomain in order to try to hide.

I emailed him asking him to remove my photos immediately and with the name of my lawyer. They were gone in 5 minutes. This should be the end of it but if you have problems with him taking things down we can go through ICANN and get his domain taken away.

Luckily he is in Canada so there is no problem with international laws. Copyright law in Canada states:
Copyright comes into existence automatically, at the time the work was created, and, in the case of most works, it continues until the end of the calendar year in which the author of the work dies (regardless of whether the author has sold or assigned the copyright in the work or not), and continues for an additional period of 50 years. There are some notable exceptions to this rule however. One such exception relates to photographs, which are protected by copyright from the time the photograph was taken, up until the end of the calendar year in which the photograph was taken , and for an additional period of 50 years (that is, the termination date of copyright protection for photographs is linked to the date the photograph was taken, and not the date of the photographer's death).
Feel free to quote this to him when you email him. As an added insult to injury he has watermarked OUR photos with his own URL!!!

His contact info is:

Of the dozen girls I've spoken with they all said he did not have permission. One lady I spoke with was shocked her phone number was posted on there as she does not post her phone number online at all.

That's right he's got our phone numbers posted too.

He has hundreds of Toronto girls listed. I do not have access to terb...if anyone does can you please post this info for those girls?

Thanks!

Not cool at all .

I've already sent him an email telling him he had no right creating an ad page for me without my permission, let alone, even hearing from me at all .

If I want to advertise somewhere, I contact them directly, get the required information & do it all myself .

Free advertising and publicicity! I don't think he was tyring to do anything

wrong just trying to make a fun new place showcasing adult entertainment!

You could get business from those sites! Think of the men that take your pics

for there own personal pleasure they could be floating all over the internet

right now! Heck your face good be advertising gang bangs in Asia and you

would have no idea! Yes maybe he should of asked for permission but really

is him advetising you going to hurt your business....

Well perhaps not all the girls are okay with an unknown making money on his site without their permission like yourself. Also some of the more respectable girls like to have control of their info and can control their applications. Not everyone is thrilled at the prospect of free advertising. Some of the girls on Perb and other sites don't even use Craigslist like you do........

What if the sp takes a break or quits the bizz? They can take down the ads that they put up, but do not control ones they do not. Their phone numbers stay up there for good, making them have to cancel them when they no longer wish to take on any more clients.

You're right...my photos can easily be used elsewhere on the Internet but my name and phone number are not attached to them. By him taking photos and using the girl's name and contact info he makes website visitors think that the girl created the profile. There ARE big problems with this. A lot of people have big reputations and having someone mis-represent them is a big thing.

Not to mention it is illegal and he obviously knows what he is doing is wrong as he has gone to lengths to hide. And as far as free advertising goes, advertising which you do not have control of is not worth it even if it is free...but my profile was up for a while and I checked my logs and have not had any hits from his website anyway and even if I had, it is not worth it to deal with someone as sneaky as that who will stoop to stealing content in order to populate his website and then spam the women he stole from to try to sell them google adwords that cost him $20/wk for $99/wk. It's underhanded, it's taking advantage of women who are not as technically capable as him, and it's illegal.

Anyway, some people might not mind and that is cool but I know a lot of people do and so I am just providing info for those that do.

Actually my information was not stolen, I was offered to have my profile on the site and I signed up free of charge. The reason it says I am Australian is because there was no option for New Zealand.

I'm too lazy to look for it but I've posted this link a while back as well.. I've found quite a few similar sites over the past year or so.. I think it's something to remember when your information is out there, unfortunately you have very little control over where it ends up..
