Labour Day Weekend - Banff & Canmore Areas

I spent the labour day weekend (Sept. 2 - 4/2006) in the Canmore and Banff areas. The weather was great with blue skies and warm temperatures during day. However, in the evenings it was a little chill beacuse I was near the Rockie Mountains .
I was talking to a guy in one the many sports shops in Banff and he said there was already 37 cm of snow in the higher elevations at Sunshine.
I cannot wait until downhill skiing starts this year. I am hoping the mountain areas get a great deal of snow.

Ski season is getting closer by the day . I am hoping this year the ski hills are full of fresh snow with ski conditions near perfect for a long enjoyable season.

now skiing might be a special I would run ... but the gentleman would have to teach me, keep me warm, and be able to drink.

My favourite time during the winter months is as follows:
After a long day of skiing, I love to sit in front of warm, roaring fireplace and later inside a hot, bubbly jacuzzi.

Well, I look forward to your lesson ... how many more months til ski season starts ?? Oh and fyi: I want a hotel with room service please, breakfast brought to me after morning nookie is the only way to travel.
