It's ironic you mention that because I got the exact opposite story from a well reviewed Quebec touring lady. She mentioned that she had been adding Winnipeg more frequently because Calgary had been drying up and was flooded with competition which was slowing business down for her and driving rates down.
That's the ebb and flow of the market. Calgary has been a hot city for providers because of the oil money there; because it's a hot city it draws more competition and natural market forces eventually take effect to normalize things again. I've spoken to three different companions this winter though, who each stated that Calgary was their favourite city not necessarily because they made the most money there, but because of what I would refer to as 'western culture'. They found their average cliental in Calgary to be friendly and personable to a level uncommon in other cities; certainly relative to Toronto and Montreal. They each gave specific examples of what they meant but I'll spare you the essay; it's not important here.
In any case, Krista and Katie both have ads on CAF announcing that they're extending their stay in Calgary through March 15th which is when they were supposed to be here, and certainly they've had good reviews so if things are working in their favour and they're happy staying put then more power to them. They'll get here eventually. I'm personally dying to see Madison for a variety of reasons, but the more the merrier.
