Kind of freaking out

I'm kind of needing some help on something.

I saw an SP and as we were going doggy, I noticed something seemed off, I looked down and the condom had slipped off and was on the bed. I immediately stopped (I don't think I was in for very long without it) and started freaking out. She assured me she was clean and everything.

Anyways, I'm understandably still worried. I'm going to get tested, what tests should I be asking them to do and is there any symptoms or anything serious that I would be able to see or notice by myself?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Mr Boggo

The most common symptoms of a sexually transmitted infection (STI) would be things like discharge from the penis, it hurts when you pee or an itch develops inside your penis (feels like your urethra is itchy). Also developing a sore/lesion after a few days could be another sign. If you get any of these symptoms come in to the clinic or see a doctor straight away.

Most STI do not develop symptoms so I would recommend coming into the clinic in two weeks for a test. Waiting two weeks increases the accuracy of the test.

Here is a link for all the tests we recommend. You can get them done at any doctor’s office or an STI clinic.

It is great that you normally use condoms as this will really reduce the risk. Have you had the condom slip off before?
