I agree that it's mighty hypocritical for her to silently take our $ for her lucrative career, save up for a comfy retirement & easy transition to a new career/school/whatever, & then when she's squeezed all she wishes to out of us, deliver the sermon she's been storing up on how we should otherwise be directing our time & energy. As for the marriage issue, though, there are so many different variables that it is really hard to generalize about people's motivations.

I still connect with my SO on an emotional level. We have lots of fun together, have two great kids, and in many ways have a great relationship.

I don't know why, but sex just has left our relationship, and no matter what I've done to try and rekindle that she seems to not need it the same way I do. Fine, but at 42 I don't think its reasonable to expect me to forego sex for the rest of my life.

I crave the physical intimacy of the sexual experience. So I don't go trying every new sp that comes along. I have a few favourites that provide me with exactly the sort of experience I need. I think we're friends, and that I'm perhaps a bit more than "just another client". Maybe nothing more than a good regular client. That's fine, I accept I'm paying for a fantasy and that I also have a role to play in that fantasy. (as a result no licking the face)

At the end of the day, all I'm saying is you can't generalize.

As for older guys, lots of sp's prefer older guys. We know what we're looking for, are more appreciative, have the cash, and know how to treat a lady.

I frankly don't think anyone is attacking Kim. Its a discussion, with lots of different opinions and points of view. She started the discussion, and even though she's not here to participate in it, there are lots of others who can.

And as for whining about how bad our marriages are, there we go with generalizations again.

I'd have to guess that since she felt compelled to make her true feelings known on a message board, that no, her conscience probably wasn't put aside when the cash traded hands but that she was a good actress. She was paid to be.

Regarding the "fantasy world". It was her job to create one. I personally wouldn't see a sp if I thought reality was going to make an appearance.

I honestly fail to see the malicious attitude that so many others have seen in the original post. The "you fucked for money so shut up and good riddance...until you're broke and fucking for money again" type responses are indicative of more hypocrisy than her own post.

I'm sure that while she was in business and telling clients what they wanted to hear, she in return heard alot of the "I really respect what sps do" type cliches only to discover that now that she's not engaging in the "fantasy", pooners attitudes change accordingly.
