Anyone know if Kerry and Mandy are going to come out of hiding for their annual Xmas Raffle for the Xmas Cheer Board? If not, any ladies out there going to pick up the torch?

You're quite astute Pantsnake, having registered in March '06 and yet still knowing what these ladies are (or were) offering at Christmas time.

Just one of those things that make you go hummmm :)

Who the F**k cares when PS came on board. Maybe he heard about the raffle from a friend. I've only been on this board for a few weeks yet I know all about it from some of my SP friends.

Back to the question at hand.

Is it on for this year?

Pooners purchased tickets for $20.00 each, and the ladies drew the winning ticket just before Christmas. The winner received a two hour duo session with them. Last year the ladies also drew a second ticket for a one hour duo session. The ladies used the proceeds to purchase three (I think) hampers and donated them to needy families.

Kerry is now less active than before, and Mandy doesn't seem to have returned from her hiatus, so we'll have to wait and see about this year.

athaire, it may be a great idea, but the initiative has to come from one or more ladies themselves, not from pooners. After all, it's the ladies who would be donating their time. A couple of years ago. when Slothy floated the idea of having the ladies do a second raffle for tsunami relief, he was shot down by one and all.

Of course we are doing the Cheer Board raffle, it would feel like Christmas if we didn’t.

This year we are going to switch it up a bit. It is still 20.00 per entry, but there will be two seperate draws for two one-hour duos for the prizes. Also if you bring a new toy or a bag of groceries of imperishable items equaling approximately a 20.00 value, you will receive one entry.

To donate please PM only, no phone calls. As of this weekend Kerry will be back to her old schedule, so it will be easier to drop by. I will also be around. We will be excepting donations between Dec 1 to Dec 20 2006.

Merry Christmas everyone,
Kerry and Mandy

Even better, if Sharah wins, she could draw another ticket, and the winning pooner would have a foursome with Sharah, Kerry and Mandy. :)

Does Terrell have a sense of humour? Apparently not! He must be the only person who read my post and took it seriously. Not only that, my post was a follow-up to Mchatte's suggestion also made in jest.

Good grief! Speaking of a foursome Terrell, did you hear the one about the rabbi, the priest, the minister and the buddhist monk?

Oh, never mind.
