Some material information cited in your posted conversation indicates that this conversation did indeed take place.

Nookie Monster did pay some substantial sums to someone in Kelowna for the amounts and reasons cited. The only person or persons that would have known these amounts and reasons would have been connected to Taryn or the perb handle Babylady.

Unlike the members being scammed for monies for escorts services never provided I was tricked into believing Taryn's daughter was seriously ill in hospital and I was loaning her $$ for rent that was due then later a $$ when Taryn told me her daughter had taken a turn for the worse and had to be medically evacuated to Vancouver Children's hospital.

The amounts being told would have been impossible for the member to have guessed or known.

Call me a dumb ass but in the end, my conscience told me a little girls life was at stake and I was going to make a huge difference by lending a needy and terrified mother the funds she needed.

Regretfully but at spiritual peace...

She then said that her daughter had died....

the yahoo log is absolutely untouched with the exception of line removed because of size....

i would like to know where these "people" are setting up shop so that someone could do something about it....

The fact that Nookie Monster confirmed that aspects of this conversation must be accurate is good enough for me, so I believe what's been posted here is true. But the problem with a cut and paste of this type is that if nobody can confirm it, it can turn into an ugly "he said, she said" conundrum. It's sad that it has to come to this sort of thing but in the future, we made need to find ways to keep screen caps of these types of exchanges in case we need to back up our assertions with proof.

6 months later got a call from a Detective from LA wanting to know if I kept all the correspondence and I did. 2 months later he was arrested as I was not the only who got sucked in. Got all my money back with a check from the LA DA's office, a year after that.

Nookie, I am sure you can call the cops, and warn them about the scam, as they know that one thing leads to another, and well if she is 17, she may not make 18... that person is banking on people not going after him/her. So they will do this until one day....that one person will get so upset, they will want to get even.

You could also talk to your bank, I am sure they may have suggestions, anyway if that person's bank knows there is illegal funds,( ei Scam) happening, that could get the cops involved... and would not single you out.
