I have been spending some time reading the different posts on PERB to learn about how the whole SP business works. Finally, after some serious nervousness, I made an appointment to see Kaylie from Victoria's Eden.
Kaylie answers the door when I knock and she leads me down the hallway to a private room. The room is quite bare, but what's needed is there. It's clean and private. I settle up for the hour and the rate is what is posted on their website. We sit and chat for a bit. Kaylie recognises my nervousness about being with an SP for the first time and is very cool about it. She undresses and starts with a back rub, the whole time chatting away to help me relax.
