I tried to book an appointment with Katie back in March of '09. She stood me up, not answering her cell phone. She apologized profusely (by email) the next day. She offered to make it up to me, so I re-booked for a few days later.
When I showed up at the apartment building at the designated time, I phoned her cell. She answered, but was incoherent. She mumbled something about wanting a pizza. She put the phone down, without hanging up, and I heard music start up in the background. I think it was U2. I hung up.
She contacted me by email that evening, asking why I didn't show up, saying she really needed that money. She said she was re-booking me for the next day at the same time, and that I was to call her to get the address. I had already decided by now that I wanted nothing to do with this poor girl, so I never replied to her email. I didn't bother calling her the next day.
Like pjrd says, not for me.
