Justifying the cost

I enjoy reading reviews and learning about people's experiences. And a lot of times people share amounts of money they pay and they seem to engage in this hobby very regularly. Now, it is not a cheap hobby and costs add up to a lot (annually, for example). So, I am genuinely curious, how do you justify that much money in your head?

Would anyone be willing to share roughly how much they spend annually and what their thinking process is?

I only started to see SPs regularly this year. I admit that I’ve spend a lot — much more than what I thought I ever would. Since I visited well-reviewed SPs most of the time, most of my experience has been very enjoyable. (Big thanks to the community here!) Can one measure how much happiness should cost? I’ve had the best sex I’ve ever had and had threesomes with some amazing hotties. Those memories are with me forever. As long as I spend within my means and have control over the hobby, I’m fine with the spending.

Probably 4-5,000/yr, roughly the amount of any hobby engaged in regularly such as sports season tickets or regular golf, etc. No need to justify my personal enjoyment of life.
