So what do you listen to when you need to feel up, when you need some retrospection, or when you just want to chill?

Personally I like almost all genres of music.

Green day, Beatles, Troggs, Abba, Sex Pistols, etc, etc, etc...
Hard to pick a favourite. I like folk music when I reminisce. Cat Stevens, Gordon Lightfoot, or Simon and Garfunkel, Bob Dylan.
Ramping it up a bit, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Bachman Turner Overdrive.
Later on to the rock stage, AC/DC, Def Leppard.
Alternative years, Tones on Tail, Love and Rockets, New Order.
Nickelback, Nine Inch Nails, Devo, Queen... etc.

I think I only dislike Blues, Jazz, and Country.
Hell, I even admit to loving Lady Gaga. Her music is awesome.

Let us know!

This may sound ridiculous, but I indulge in some Disturbed, I wouldn't say it is relaxing, but it definitely provides a release and leaves me spent, I would love to find an SP who it enjoys it as well, and to burn an hour with her, it would make for an interesting time, a little bit of leather wouldn't hurt my feelings either!

Wow, this turned into a Want Ad, if you can provide the said experience then msg me and let's get stupified!

It would be a killer turn-on if you sang along too!

I am serious, msg me details!

Dude, the blues is the roots and everything else is the fruits. EVERYTHING comes from the blues. You ever see any interviews with rockers, country, rappers, etc. They will all tell you that.

I wonder if music has come a long way, or does the old music still stand the test of time?
I think the good old music still stands the test. The songs you just can't get sick of, no matter how many times you hear them.

It sure can be.

I forgot to mention that I also enjoy foreign music...although I can't understand it...lol.

Chinese, Thai, Indian, French, and Russian music, it's all beautiful and different.

Thank goodness for music. ^_^

Yep, AJ... there was a chinese busker playing in the metro system in montreal. A single stringed instrument. Such a hauntingly beautiful sound. It was amazing.

there is a busker here in E-town that plays one of those one stringed chinese instruments. I see him around every so often, usually down in Strathcona.
