One of my most recent review threads was removed and it contained two seperate good reviews for me.

WTF? There are girls getting two to three nearly identical reviews everyday on here with no problem. I get one and it gets hijacked, advertised in by other SP's and then removed?

seems a little odd to me is all.

Thanks to those who make this place such a playground for idiots and trolls.

*I'm sure i'll get banned for this under some ruling handed down by the King of PERB.*

Are you serious?!

I've been told all along that I should always come on and thank a reviewer. Someone must have a lot of time on their hands to complain and have my reviews removed.

wow.

If you think this is going to get me to pay PERB so I can thank people...you're fucking crazy.

-D-

Sorry there slick, let me break it down for ya. A reveiw is fine but when a non-paid advertiser starts thanking people, it becomes advertising. It's not that hard to figure out. Girls in RED pay to advertise and thus have the ability to thank the poster and bump the thread.

lenny, if you are ever in RED, Perb is an a pile of trouble. You're not the sharpest knife in the shed, are ya lenny! (wasn't a question) ;)

I'm with Dasha on this one...

The only advantages for being a paid advertiser is that you advertise your services and post pictures!!

She wasn't doing any of that. She was simply thanking them so she doesn't look like a bad SP and beling polite.

Same deal here

I thanked someone for a nice review (months ago)
Some drama (that I had nothing to do with) happened and now I'm in trouble with the mods.
I'm pretty sure the other party in question complained lol
I had no idea you were not allowed to thank people either.
I never posted a pic nor did I advertise my services.

It's all trivial anyway

How much is it to advertize here now?

It used to be a measley sum if i recall.

I am thinking about it, if it will keep the hounds off my back ;

It's simple. At it's heart, Perb is false advertising. It advertises itself as the "Pacific Escort Review Board". It is not a review site. It is an advertising site.

For those of you that will state that Perb is its own site and can do whatever it wishes. If this was true, then you would be ok with an escort advertising as a 20 year old hotty and then showing up and being 65 and overweight. Perb is not a hobby. It is a business.

Perb's owners and operators derive considerable income from advertising. and they derive the traffic for this income by falsely representing their business purpose.

Imagine if Rotten Tomatos stated you can only provide valid and useful information about movies they were deriving direct advertising revenue from. What would you think? What validity would Rotten Tomatos have?

The interesting thing about Perb though is that there are countless escort review sites that provide excellent advertising platforms for escorts without limiting information on non-advertising escorts. The escorts that advertise on Perb have convinced the operators of the site that the value of their advertising is compromised by allowing full and complete reviews and commentary on non-advertising escorts. This is simply not true.

Yep, I agree with you Dasha. That is why this board is pretty much garbage when it comes to most reviews. It's pretty much an advertising board (ban me, I don't care as i'm not missing anything).

I do love coming on to read all the L&L's posts as well as the lounge threads though.

well in reality tough, you don't like it, tough :) The rules here are pretty clear... so  Should've just kept quiet and not make a fuss about it or start your own board haha.

What I'm annoyed about is there aren't enough bad reviews here. Well only the micros... but anybody that visits this board, advertiser or not, tends not to have much negative. It's tough to be negative though cause then you get all their fan club coming out in full force insisting you're wrong :)

Well before I was paid member I thanked people for their reviews and never had any problems. (That may just be a fluke, or no one saw me as a threat? don't know). You, of course, need to be careful of what you say. I believe saying thanks is okay though....

Sometimes, people start drama and then poof the thread is gone or so it seems.... things that make you go hmmmm...

The main reason I became a paid member is so I have more freedom of speech :p

yah Dasha, this is supposed to be a review board and an advertising board. So the way it works is the guys can review all they want, but they can't post any contact info unless the girl is an advertiser.

If a girl is an advertiser she can reply publicly to say thank you. But if you are not an advertiser, posting in the thread is like telling people "hey here I am if you want to book with me" so the owners of the board consider it advertising.

You should have got a warning and had your replies deleted, not the entire thread. That is really unfortunate. In the future maybe thank the reviewers privately through PM. Perhaps you could ask them to repost the reviews if you remember the usernames that posted and this time don't reply.

But honestly, the $50/mo it costs to advertise here will be earned back pretty quickly, I never really understand the hesitation ladies have to pay.

^^ lol.

Uhm if you are an perb advertiser do you have more space in your PM? like I know that the non advertisers have only 40 messages(including sent).

Yeah you totally do!!

I didn't know that before hand though, but it was a great surprise!

I might just pay the 50 usd/month just to get more space in my inbox. 40 is definetly not enough. To many PM's that are life longer keepers!

Some one said something really sweet about me. I said thank you it was deleted by the mods, I was annoyed. I checked out advertising options, lo and behold they accepted credit cards. I went red to say thank you. Now I can say whatever I want, and not get in trouble. However now that I am red, I am finding, gentlemen are scrutinizing and judging what I say more then they did before. sigh

I also think that if you know about this board, you read about what men want and what they are expecting. I know for myself, reading other reviews and getting feed back helps tone my service and make it better. So I would say if a girl is a paid advertiser, she would probably try harder then just your random girl off CL, so she would not get bad reviews. Just a thought.:)

You would think that wouldn't you.....but it has been mentioned that because of the Red pull that some do just the opposite and when there is a review about that it is pulled.....

Myself I don't care one way or the other anymore. Perb is Perb and seems to click along no matter what.
