Vancouver city council just banned leaf blowers from being used in the west end.

Leaf blowers are simply one of the most useless inventions in the history of the world. They are friggin' noisy and do nothing useful. I hate them too. Get a damn rake!

It will cost the city an extra $39 000 in labour to clean up the leaves without the blowers according to this evening's news.

Actually Husqvarna (?) makes one. A friend won one in a home lottery but the guy lives in an apartment with no leaves to blow or suck.
