Just read that Canada's second best singer/songwriter (second only to Neil Young in my opinion) is in hospital in serious condition

Not only is she considered one of the best singer/songwriters, she was also voted the best female guitarist by Rolling Stone magazine (chosen by fellow guitarists).

Hope she pulls through. We need talented Canadians like Joni, Neil and Rush to counterbalance the likes of Bieber and Nickelback.

I know that Johnny Cash and Willy Nelson have both said in seperate interviews that Joni Mitchell was a living legend, and possesed some of the best singing talent on the North American Continent...
