and yet you yourself have posted about maintaining client records and that you have even shared them with the mods.
who else you may share them with and what other uses you have for such information is a giant
RED flag for many
I absolutely agree with you. If fallen into the wrong hands it could spell trouble for both guest and SP.
I keep records to track earnings and to keep track of the amount of visits per guest as I have a loyalty program set in place.
What is in those records is not enough to make a positive ID on a person.
I have down the name and since many will use a common name, I ask for their occupation to easily separate one Bill from the next. I
DO NOT ask the name of their employer. I
DO NOT keep a phone number past the appointment.
I write down
-name
-occupation
-the time of the session,
-the length of session,
-the type
-the rate
-what numbered visit it is
-any special preferences the guest might have
A sample entry looks like this:
3:30pm #6 George (banker) 1hrMB $200 - likes pink panties
The offer to MODS to reconcile the session purportedly Robertdice had with me with my records is at least for me legit as there is nothing personal. The entries are pretty benign.
I'd have more of an explanation should anyone find the book and read the entries not knowing what I do for a living.
Discretion is important for everyone and record keeping is something that is done in this industry on a regular basis, some better than others. It would've been considered professional misconduct if my entries were more personal and given to anyone who would ask, but since it was to people of authority where they need to make a judgement on how to discipline a member making a false claim in public, I don't see where what I've offered is out of line.
