No I've missed responding to a number of posts. But if your head wasn't in the sand half the time you would have noticed that. Like I said most people only see what they want to see.
I found most of his posts here to be interesting and intelligent. It was usually after he occasionally came under fire that he became somewhat abrasive.
i agree jjinvan is cool. Even if i dont agree with hi all the time.. and i like to read his post. he is fun too. why is gone?

I had copied and pasted it elsewhere where "yes" I revelled in it, and who wouldn't after what was posted in that thread.I didn't see Saltys diatribe here on perb but it was copied over there, verbatum. I assume it was deleted here after it was posted since it revealed personal info that could identify him? And that the poster who revealed such detailed personal information was sent to perbatory or banned for it???
I personally thought there wasn't really any personal info that perhaps would have described at least a dozen other guys.
Salty wasn't banned but got a good lesson on how PERB works when you become a new member and the perception you leave when you post the first few times.
JJ hasn't returned as I'd imagine he's embarassed to.
I've never met Salty but I'm assuming she got sick of JJ and his bold claims and did it as a favour to me.
I personally didn't pay much attention to JJ's posts as he was usually going off about politics etc. and I'm here more for a good time than to debate. I am a little disappointed at the glee so many are enjoying at the expense of another member........
Love him or hate him he did add to this board and the other. So even if the descriptions of him from Salty are true he didn't deserve to be outed in such a crude and disrespectful way........

Yeah JJ was kinda long winded and that's why I never read half or a quarter of what he wrote...but he kept it interesting around here with his unique spin on stuff
We should have like a perb rescue system when one of our senior members goes MIA....
I liked joking with him when he would tell me I was NOT THINKING and I just don't take the stuff on the board seriously enough to worry about what school he went to, if he got an A or a B in biology or whether his bed has a bedframe or is a king or a queen.
All I know is he is a loud mouth dude who had some flavor so it would be cool if he came back and shot his mouth off some more.

Agreed. Without discussion of different points of view / opinions, this would be a pretty dull place. Each of us here, good, bad or indifferent make a contribution to this board. Not all contributions are positive. There is nothing that says you have to agree with anyone. We are all unique.
I guess you can look at it from that perspective however a pooning man is just like any other man and the descriptions given weren't really enough to separate him from any other guy, however that one thing that separated the SPs appearance from any other woman who has a similar physical appearance is the fact that she is a SP and advertises. She is now that much more indentifiable whereas a client/pooner is not.
Understandably, a SP who advertises ultimately takes a huge risk but the pooner having his description with not enough identifiable features to separate himself from everyone as in this case isn't a case of "outting", at least to me.
In both those circumstances, for an "outting" to occur online on a forum such as this one, a person has to be actively perusing to either purposely looking for the outted subject or accidentely fall upon it. It's from this point on whether or not the subject, SP or pooner, could make that claim that they were outted.
The person, SP and/or pooner, is only identifiable to the people that know the subject. And for that to happen at least here, is the people that know the person to identify them have to have seen the description of them here.

Alternatively, following the more positive intents of a wake… whether you agreed with his espoused views – he was a piece of work. Irritating, thought provoking, stimulating. I personally doubt he’s as hard-line right-wing as he postured. It really wasn’t that difficult to set him off and on occasion rather easy to counter his brazen pomposity. If you didn’t agree with him – so what – there’s another fledgling start-up polyanna board if you want to be surrounded by nothing but like-minded types. Funny – he could be funny… like his Harper foot-soldier routine where he actually claimed to be prepping “his audience” in the oft chance they might become a part of a political poll/suvey.

Well if that is how you want to play then who is going to put you in your place or knock you off your pedestal? Many folks like JJ just the way he is. You had issues with him recently because he was smart enough to see what a liar you are and called you on some of your bullshit.
