I was wondering today whether this hurts or helps the hobby overal as there's probably only so many discretionary $$ to go around. I not sure, ticket prices are "NHL" size and a 3 year commitment is needed. Lots will split seats and more out of towners coming to games for sure but...thoughts?

Beverly Hills. In the Kitchen eatin' vittles.
Its time for all those who rallied to open up their wallets. While I am very happy and optimistic about the return of the NHL, I often had to wonder how many of those fans they would show celebrating at Portage and Main or the Forks will actually buy. Kind of like the guys at the strip club who hoot and holler for the dancer but never throw a few bucks on the stage or buy a private dance.
Anyway, I got my season tickets today (I had Moose tickets) and plan on buying 2 more sets for my company's employees, on Thursday when they open up to the general public.
MRGREEN is also correct. I've heard of lots of groups of 3 or 4 guys, going in to buy a couple of season tickets between them.

Yes, I also had Moose season tickets. However the NHL at 13,000 for season tickets, not worth it. But I agree that hopefully all the people at the rally will be buying season tickets.
