One day I was out with my father and noticed a very hot girl walking towards us. I said hey dad take a look at her, and he said something I have never forgotten or ever will forget. What does 'being faithful' really mean ? You are born alone, you will die alone ... if you can happily share your life with someone while you are here that is all you can hope for. Just because you are sexually attracted to someone else and act upon that doesn't mean you love the person you are sharing your life with less. Monogamy is pretty rediculous. One of my favorite clients has an open relationship with his partner. They have a son the same age as mine and we've been seeing each other for years so we share what our children are going through and I feel like I know his wife from our discussions of their life. I have the utmost respect for him and his family and have run into them in public. I think their relationship is so practical and amazing !!!

Just remember that 'being judgmental' can go both ways.

Perhaps H. is this way because of years of abuse while growing up. As a result, he's unable to form friendships, relationships, find employment, etc. All he has is anger and resentment.

He'd die to have a wife to love him, and despises those who takes theirs for granted. Being unemployed, his welfare cheque allows him to get laid twice a year.

Instead of hacking on him, we should feel sorry for him.
