They're the wallmart of religions.

Oversimplified the bible and reduced it to a mere 100 pages or so and then mass produced and marketed an equally oversimplistic and warped view of the world to every sucker they can sell it to.

It is a cult. Independant thinking and questioning of their ways by members is discouraged.

The centre is based somewhere in New Jesery. They make a killing in profits. Nothing to charity, everything to it's governors.

Actually, it's in Brooklyn, NY. On the edge of the river across Manhattan.

It's very American

It's one of the many religious movements created in the US. It's funny while the US allow these groups freedom to practice their beliefs, they don't extend the same freedom to its members. The JWs in particular don't give a rat's ass about patriotism or being American, African or whatever.

I can assure you that its well over 100 pages, as thick as any other bible, and its not for sale.. its given away as of many years ago. Ever since i was a child. Here in canada anyways.
As for being discouraged to have individual thoughts etc, maybe so.
