That maybe be true in the long run, but it certainly isn't going to cause a crisis on any particular day, especially in the next week or two.I think you're on the right track Inamorato and I have to say I agree with ugh Mclovin.
They can't just keep printing money so they will convince Canada and Mexico to form a North American union and start a new currency.
May not be in January, may be a more serious crisis, but who knows

If it happens... Vancouver will be at the outer limit of the affected area. Calgary will be covered. Prairies and US midwestern states will no longer be able to produce a significant portion of grains on the continent as they did.

Probably they don't know what Obama will do when it comes to Iran. That's a big reason they attacked Hamas in the Gaza strip, they knew George W. would support them and they weren't sure about Obama.
