Interseting video. Not feeling any safer around these "peace officers".
No wonder they arrested and did a mental test on this guy. First of all, no tags on the front of the car and a broken windshield is illegal. One is a safety issue and one is a licensing issue. As far as I know, Alberta cars are supposed to have front plates on too...you see them around town here and most have front plates.

Secondly, if the cops notice something about your vehicle, or whatever and ask you to pull over and ask for ID, etc....don't be a dick and start spouting off about rights and refusing to ID yourself. That's why they dragged him out of the car....and I'm sure there is more to the story than just his side.

Thirdly....if he just said something like, ' Sure, here you go, license and registration...what's the problem?', he'd most likely be in his own bed that night.

Fourthly...this guy has a record of DUI, so he's willing to put the safety of others on the road aside for his own selfish drunken cavorting...plus it sounds like he has no job, no respect for actually getting up in the morning to go to court, wasting time, money, resources that could be used for a real reason rather than this bozo's bullshit.

We do have rights, damn straight, and we better use them. But, if you're a shit disturber and start waving flags and drawing attention to yourself....they are going to pay attention to you. Don't lie to the cops, don't be evasive or sketchy and you get to go home....he just really caused trouble for himself. Now he's being stupid....simple as that.

You missed the part where the police broke into his house. Held him for 19 days. He did a crime and served the time in another country, why serve it twice? He was told that if he was to exercise his right to "remain silent" he would be charged with obstruction of justice. Driving with a cracked windshield isnt illegal, I have a friend who has been driving with cracked windshield for about 3 months now. Plus they tried to bribe him.

Actually, the only provinces where you have to have front plates are BC, Manitoba, New Brunswick, and Ontario. Everywhere else in the country it's optional. Now having said that, I don't know if there are any sort of rules in BC about cars registered in other provinces needing front tags, or if they just go by the laws of the province where the car is registered. I suspect they go by the latter, but I don't know.

The other thing that jumped out at me was that he didn't want to give them his name and registration because they didn't have probable cause. I could be wrong, but from my understanding if you're walking down the street you don't have to give them any info without PC, but if you're in a vehicle they can ask you for your license and registration without needing PC, and you have to provide it.

They have to "detain" you first then they have the "authority" for your ID. And if they are detaining you they have to tell you why.

If you're driving a vehicle and get pulled over, IMO, that would be being "detained". But regardless if you are driving I believe they are perfectly within the law to require to see registration (proof of insurance) & driver's license (proof of valid license to drive). Not having either of those can get you fined & out of the car. I highly doubt that you can refuse to show this to a cop who pulls you over, for those very reasons.

Just in case anyone had any doubts about what a pathetic excuse for a human being you are...
so he can make fun of my mother and family but I can't his? I've told him many times he doesn't know my mother or family so no need tpo talk about them or i'll talk about his. He don't like it then he can leave my family out of it.

Nice try on the cover up Silky. That's the second time you have made that same derogatory statement. I have never made fun of your family. Asking a question, if someone wrote something because it was similar to how you write (still think it was you) is a little different, than the direct ignorant statement you made. A man as well versed in conspiracy theories, such as yourself, would and does know the difference. You're a sad individual.
You've mentioned my mom a few times, asshole.

Like I said above and you purposely didn't read. Why is it ok for hubba to talk about my family but I cant retaliate by talking about his?

what do you mean take my word for it? Anyone who watches me and Hubba argue should see he does bring up my family. Low blow for a low blow.
Show me a quote of anything Hubba has ever said that was as low as making fun of somebody for having a dead mother. You're fucking scum.

I would considered being "pulled-over" as "detained"... if not, you can technically just keep driving and ignore the lights and sirens, lol.

Also, driving is not a right, it's a privilege.
