What I mean is that you people always think these kinds of punishments are easy to deal with. Therefore, you always think things in a very simple way.
However, in reality, these are very controversial issues. So, you need to think them in a complicated way. These means that you may have to think about the economy too; and other similar things too, etc.
In human world, life is complicated. In order to make it simple, you have to think thoroughly. We, chinese, usually think 18 years ahead in terms of these controversial issues.
There's an old chinese saying: you are a good man 18 years later after death due to rebirth!
This is why the death penalty is intact in China and some other countries in the world. Remember, you want to compete in the world!
