It's Halloween. Everyone's entitled to one good scare!

Not too many trick or treaters here this year. I hope everyone else had -- or is still having -- a good one

i blame it on the malls handing out goodies

there was a time when everybody shared in the expense of handing out goodies to the kids by handing out goodies at their doors to other peoples' kids that came around

now they go to malls for two reasons: 1) free goodies for their kids, and 2) a good excuse not to be home so they don't have to hand out goodies themselves to other peoples' kids

the shift is kind of sad actually

I went to vancity_cowboy's house on Halloween and he gave me a Tootsie Roll; the large size ones not the 'Fun Size'.

It was delicious.
