How fucking stupid can some people be?

It gets hot and still some people are too stupid to realize their dogs can die in a locked car. Just saw some asshole loser on the news in Kamloops say he was just gone 10 minutes. He got a warning while the dog drank like two litres of water.

I say lock him in a car for 15 minutes as a first step to teaching a lesson.

Ok, so this is kind of obvious, but based on most of the responses I read on this site, it's well within the guidelines; does it matter it the car is locked?

I take my dog to work with me most days. Some days, when I'm not working in the office, this involves having him with me on the road doing service calls. When it's hot, I make sure to bring some water along and while I'm working I leave all the windows open and sometimes even the back doors - he's a good dog and won't leave the truck even with the doors open. On occasion, I'll tie him up so he can lay underneath the truck in the shade. For the life of me, I can't understand why someone would leave a helpless animal in a vehicle in scorching hot weather, thinking that it's okay if the windows are cracked open a little.

Morons is a kind word.

LOL in Edmonton some genius parents left their 3 year old in the car while they went into Walmart to go shopping, A passer by called 911 told them asked what he should do the operator said "well I know what I would do" so the guy broke the window and took the girl out and waited for the cops to arrive they all then waited for the parents to come out.

We have a lady at work, who brings her dog to work each day, and leaves the dog in the car. She lives in a building where she cant have a dog, and this is how she tricks them.

It stays pretty cool at least down there, must be boring as hell for the dog.
