Massagegirl is confused and bewildered. She called a new client back at his hotel, as requested(30 min late), but a WOMAN answered. Massagegirl (quickly she thinks) said "oh I must have the wrong room" and the woman said "okay". Massagegirl is upset and using 3rd person language because she thinks it was his unsuspecting wife? But what if it wasn't? That would make massagegirl feel much better if it wasn't.

After making up the choices I thought it needed a bit of clarification. Just so you guys don't think I'm paranoid, it does happen where people order outcalls to someone elses address, as a prank. Kinda like ordering pizza to someone elses house, which is just as stupid. Of the options I gave I would only feel bad if it was option number 1, so I feel a bit better and now I need you guys to vote what you think is going on so I know whether I should be feeling very bad or not!

Anything is possible. But atleast you didn't have to put any effort into it, just call and figure out something botched, say to yourself "fukkin dork!! if you want me to call back atleast be around to answer the phone" and go back to Opera and your sugar free Fresca.

Can you please clarify the time element as it is a little unclear to me and so may be unclear to others.

You said you called him back as requested (30 min late). Did you mean 30 minutes later or 30 minutes late? In other words, did he request that you call him back 30 minutes later and you indeed did call him back exactly when he wanted you to, or did you call him back 30 minutes after the time that he asked you to call?

Oh sure Penhold, I'll try.

I was busy with client A til 10:30 and had client B calling then to confirm an 11pm spot. Around 9pm, Client C(private name, private number) called and said that in case client B didn't confirm, then call him back as he would like the last appointment of my day. I said I had to give Client B til 10:45 to call, he said OK, but to call either way(that's what made me think it was a set-up) But I ended up talking to Client A until 11pm(while waiting for client B to call who didn't) then searched for C's number and called him at 11:15pm. Technically 30 min after he expected the call, a woman answered.

Confusing enough for ya? I tried to make it easier...

I really appreciate all the votes and voted for number 1 myself, so it's almost a tie between several choices. I did entertain statics answer but thought it was too far fetched. Maybe not, hey?

maybe he gave you the wrong room number by accident. I recently stayed at 4 different hotels in one week. I couldn't keep the room numbers straight

No he gave me his last name as well, or the hotel wouldn't have put me through. It's a nice one here in Victoria.

Maybe It was another SP(backup) and she answer when he was in the shower. When you didn't call him on the time he then assume that you are with client B and that he didn't cancell. So went and called for another SP cause you were busy. Don't think it may have been his wife or he wouldn't have told you his name and wouldn't have told you to call. That is what I think that happen but I can't be to sure. I mostly see the glass as half full than half empty

A back-up was my second thought, but it seemed like wishful thinking on my part. That's why I wanted to hear from everyone here, and by the poll I'm still not sure what the truth is.

Anyone who has done this kind of thing should know not to give out their name and number and ask for a callback if the wife is along, but as I said, it is my biggest fear to cause someone that kind of grief.

So until I hear different, I will put it to rest. No news is good news, right?

Thanks for clarifying. It sounds like it may well have been a backup SP, although I would expect in that case he must have asked her to pick it up. After all, I think most good SPs would not normally pick up a phone in a client's hotel room unless the client told her it was okay to pick it up. Otherwise, she would not know who's calling and therefore wouldn't answer to avoid placing the client or herself in an awkward position.

I wouldn't think it was his wife or girlfriend. If so, he would most likely have given you a very specific time period in which to call and then told you not to call except within that time period. If he didn't give you those instructions then I wouldn't worry about it.

Of course, if he was a "newbie" or stupid.....
